I also opened Photoshop for the first time in ages. After my hiatus, I am glad to see that I still have at least a somewhat shred of my old touch. However, my artistic theory has changed.
I still make things because I can. My art still has no point behind it. However, my aesthetics are not my cause, my skill is. I do not make pretty pictures to please your eyes, I make art to understand the concept of skill, and what it is classified as. I can make neon lines, lens flares, dirt, scratches, patterns. And all at the touch of a button. For the time being, my future art will not be in this portfolio for you to enjoy. It will be here so you can join me in the observations of skill.
Therefore, if my art does not look pleasing to you, I am entirely indifferent. I may not like it, I may. But my aim is for you to analyse the skill element in it, not the aesthetics.
This may be coming across as egotistical, but it is not meant to. So please, rather than telling me my 'grunge is too dirty', or 'there is too much noise', think that I may have put it there on purpose for the purely structural element of my own concept.

Anyways, i just released my gfx site. [link]
